West African Portland Cement was established in 1959 with its first factory in Ewekoro, Ogun State, Nigeria. Due to that, it resumed manufacturing operations in 1960. The second factory is in Sagamu; Ogun State. Which was established in 1978. The following job is available as follows
Job Title: Plant Control Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Adhere strictly the Safety Policies, Rules, and Regulations of the company.
2. Prepare and Maintain all the books of Accounts
3. Maintain Accurate and Reliable General Ledger for the Plant in a timely manner
4. Responsible for total contact with the external Auditors (both at the end of the year and during routine audit)
5. In charge of regular reconciliation of the Plant’s bank accounts and other books of accounts
6. Ensuring that all account booking to Enterprise resource Package (ERP) follow the normal approval process and accountable for same.
7. Liaising with the plant cashier to ensure that the fund request of the Plant is met in timely manner.
8. Ensure full compliance with the Company’s control process in expenses booking and advise Plant Controller to initiate a process where one is not in existence.
9. Assist Plant Controller in meeting the Plant’s monthly financial reporting deadline.
JOB PROFILE/ Professional experience :
1. HND or B. Sc. in Finance/ Accounting with minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a process industry.
2. Commitment to the highest standards of safe work habits.
3. Good team player and self-motivated.
4. Strong coaching ability, motivate and inspire teamwork.
5. Able to take initiative based on sound problem solving skills.
6. Very good written and verbal communications skills.
7. Knowledge of JDE will be an added advantage.
