The Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF) has announced a call for CVs from National Consultants for state peer review. The announcement states that the NGF secretariat is updating its database of consultants for possible short or longer term assignments.
Careeraware.com notes that the assignments and missions are in a variety of fields related to the State Peer Review Mechanism.
The Nigeria Governors’ Forum is a coalition of all 36 democratically elected governors of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Modelled after the National Governors’ Association (NGA) of the United States of America, the main objectives of the Forum are to bring governors together to share experiences, promote cooperation among States, serve as a mechanism for conflict resolution between states and as an agent for dispute resolution between states and the Federal Government.
The aim of the State Peer Review Mechanism (SPRM) is to assist States in improving their development performance through periodic reviews of progress in the implementation of their development policies, plans and programmes.

The NGF Secretariat is therefore encouraging national consultants, who are available for assignments in States to submit a summary form and their CV. The NGF is looking for Consultants with qualifications and expertise within the following areas:
- Public Health
- Financial Management
- Project Management
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Procurement
- Agriculture (including Corps, Agro-Forestry, Fisheries and Livestock)
- Education
- Infrastructure (including construction and rehabilitation)
- Water and Sanitation
- Natural Resource Management / Environment
- Community Development
- Institutional Development and Capacity Building
- Micro and Rural Finance
- Gender
